Finally, editing has wrapped on the Rigo Waltz music video. It's taken us half a year to release this video, mostly because of outside factors, but we waited until we had polished it enough for release. Check it out HERE.

Today we photographed the awesome rock band Folding In. We shot out in the ruins of an old building, far away from civilization. Check out the photographs here: CLICK.

We shot a new music video for Beefy this week, for his song "1-800-NERDCORE" off his new album Tube Technology. We shot it in about 3 hours, making it up as we went along, and finished editing within a few days. Not the best, but hey. It was fun. Z of Hipster Please put a shout-out for it, with the following words:
“ Though it’s not a lighthearted summer buddy cop comedy involving Cameron Diaz as a wide-eyed recruit who breaks all the rules and William H. Macy as her by-the-book partner, I’am gonna go ahead and call this one a romp. Don’t believe me? See for yourself! - Z ”

What a fantastic weekend! I had a gallery/showcase in Sandpoint, Idaho. Z-Crew Music put it on for me, at the Panida Theater downtown. It was there that we premiered my newest film, Tardus Nex, and showed both Stage Four and Pleasure to accompany it. In between films, bands CAB, Byword, and Coo played their sets.
A photo gallery was set up in the main foyer, and sold some prints.
My good friend and fellow filmmaker Mike Hedge traveled up from LA for the event, and photographed the whole thing. (Photo gallery coming soon!)

I've got photography published in a national magazine, titled Imaginative Artisans. It's a small underground thing, but it's still cool. An online version of the clipping can be viewed here.

I traveled in The Morning's caravan this past weekend, going with them to the FroZenfest shows they were playing at. Fun times. We shot a lot of great photos, some of which will be posted on here shortly. Stay tuned!

I was video-interviewed by Bethany of atomictown.com, a branch of the Tri-City Herald. I think I sounded dumb, so I hope it turns out well. More info to come on that as soon as the video and story are posted.

I traveled down to Portland this past weekend to help out on a friend's movie set. It's titled Nora, and a spin-off of Hitchcock's Psycho. It's being co-directed and produced by Grace Carter and Holly Andres and co-produced by Melanie Brown. I had a lot of fun, and it was a great experience. Met a lot of really cool people. I did most of the set photography, and helped out with the grip aspect of it. I learned a lot, thanks to some awesome grips who took the time to inform me of the 'professional' terms, instead of my indie-vocabulary. Anyway, I'll post a link to the video once it's finished.

Beefy and I were interviewed by the news team at ABC today in my room. That was a fun experience. They wanted to know about Nerdcore For Life, and our involvement in it. It turned out pretty cool. (Video will come soon)

Many of you have heard me talking about the documentary Nerdcore For Life that I have been working on for a while (cinematography / associate producing). It's finally coming together, and looking really good.
Last week, the director released a really rough cut of a trailer for the film (viewable here), and although rough, it's garnered massive amounts of public attention. Yesterday, the trailer was in the #1 spot on YouTube.com's front page. If you don't know what that site is, it's a really really big deal. One of the most visited sites in the world. At the time I'm writing this, it's been viewed over 310,000 times. And it seems to be growing over 100k a day. (*note* Trailer hit 500,000 views, 12-18)
Shortly after that, it started to appear on sites such as Spin.com, among tons of personal blogs. It's spreading across the internet at lightning speed, and everyone's talking about it.
*Warning! Some strong language.*
For more info and links on the film, check out it's page here.
